The Golden Temple (The abode of God) is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, `India. Traditionally know as Harmandir Sahib. The Golden temple, Amritsar was founded by the fourth Guru, Guru Ram das in 1577. Guru Arjan Dev, fifth sikh guru designed The Golden Temple and invited Sai Mian Mir the Muslim Sufi Saint, to lay the foundation stone of the Golden Temple, installed the Adi Granth, the holy scripture of Sikhism, inside the Golden Temple.
The Golden Temple a symbol of human brotherhood, equality and was intended to built a place of worship for everyone either it is men or women. You can listen gurbani kirtan and have peace on mind.
